The Governor, who described the event as a significant milestone in the state’s journey towards economic transformation, said it will position Ondo as a competitive destination for investors.
During the event, Governor Aiyedatiwa paid tribute to his predecessor, the late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, who first proposed the concept of the new Investment House.

He noted that Akeredolu’s vision was to establish a one-stop shop for investment activities to enhance the ease of doing business in Ondo State.
The Governor emphasized that the Investment House will serve as a hub for economic activities, fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors.
“Today, we gather to witness the realization of that vision, this Investment House will serve as a hub for economic activities and investment promotion, providing a conducive environment for both public and private sector partnerships. The strategic location of this building in the heart of Akure will facilitate unhindered access for investors, thereby opening up our State to the global investment community”, he said
Governor Aiyedatiwa also reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing all inherited projects to prevent abandonment and wastage of resources. He described the successful completion of the Investment House as a testament to this resolve, noting that Ondo State is becoming stronger and more competitive in attracting investments.
Charging the occupants of the Investment House to ensure proper maintenance and judicious use of the facilities, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized that preserving the edifice is a collective responsibility.

Speaking at the event, Engr. Olawoye Ayorinde Abiola, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, expressed gratitude to the governor for equipping the youth with the necessary tools for innovation and entrepreneurship. He noted that the governor’s vision is focused on positioning Ondo State as a thriving investment hub while enhancing human capital development and enterprise-driven initiatives.
