“We are here to felicitate with you on your nomination and to reassure you that we, the APC chairmen of all the 11 wards in Akure south, are solidly behind you. We believe in your capacity and trust that you will be a deputy governor for all”

They promised to deliver an unprecedented majority votes for the governor in Akure, saying he has performed creditably in all areas.

“There is no doubt that the APC will win the forthcoming governorship election but we want Akure’s votes to be more than we have ever recorded in any of the past elections” Ward 10 chairman, Omotoso Ayodeji, affirmed.

Receiving the chairmen, the deputy governor thanked them for the gesture. He said the governor has done a lot doing in Akure and will continue to do more.

“I have always had the idea that Akure, being the state capital, should wear a good look at all times. I’m happy to be a part of a government that is turning Akure to a modern city that will be the envy of state capitals in Nigeria.

“Just recently the governor approved N980m for the renovation of the Ondo state sports complex in Akure and the building of a new judicial village, among .any other laudable ongoing projects” the deputy governor remarked.

Adelami restated the commitment of the government to make life worth living for the people of the state.
