Fellow citizens of Ondo State,
It is with profound delight and honour that I extend my warmest greetings and good wishes to the good people of Ondo State as the gentle dawn of 2026 breaks upon our land.
The departing year, 2025, was one marked by trials and triumphs.
Through divine grace, we overcame the challenges.
I express my profound gratitude to you all for your resilience, unwavering support, trust and confidence in our administration.
We acknowledge God for the quiet strength that sustained our people through the year gone by.
The story of Ondo State is one of resilience, dignity and an unyielding belief in tomorrow.
From our farmers and traders to our fishermen, teachers, artisans, civil servants, youths and elders, the spirit of hard work and hope remain unbroken.
That spirit continues to be the greatest asset of the Sunshine State.
In 2025, we vigorously pursued our 7-point development agenda, aptly named “OUR EASE”, which we covenanted upon the mandate bestowed on us by the esteemed citizens of Ondo State.
Through this initiative, we recorded landmarks in infrastructure, welfare of our people and workforce, job creation, social re-engineering, security, as well as the empowerment of youth and women.
My deepest respects to our traditional, religious and political leaders, workers, students, artisans, women, youth, Civil Society Organisations, the media and other stakeholders for your unwavering collaboration and immense contributions towards building a more virile, peaceful and prosperous Ondo State.
I must specially thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his courageous and visionary leadership at the national level and for his steadfast support and reforms upon which the subnationals can advance the welfare of our people and align with the broader vision for a more prosperous and stable Nigeria.
As we progress in the New Year, we recommit to good governance, inclusive growth, infrastructural renewal, enhanced security and empowerment of the people.
I earnestly invite everyone to continue working collectively towards a brighter future to prioritise, peace, unity and progress; and to rise above challenges in the New Year.
Our administration will continue to be driven by a simple conviction: that governance must touch lives, restore dignity and expand opportunities for all.
As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of Ondo State, with faith in God and confidence in one another,we shall birth a State that works for all.
A new Ondo State.
