Over the weekend in Abuja, I had the privilege of standing in for my principal, His Excellency, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami, mni, the deputy governor of Ondo state, at the investiture of Dr. Caroline Ndubuisi, FCTI, as the 6th national chairperson of the Society of Women in Taxation (SWIT).
At the event, I delivered His Excellency’s keynote address on ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Enhanced Tax Administration and Economic Development’
Chaired by Senator Prof. Ajayi Boroffice, the inauguration was witnessed by top politicians, captains of industry and tax professionals across Nigeria, including leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, President of CITN, Mr. Samuel Agbeluyi, among others.
Once again, on behalf of my boss, I congratulate Dr. Caroline Ndubuisi, the newly sworn-in national executives of SWIT and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) for a seamless transition.
