Ismaila Ayodeji, Olurimisi was born in Odigbo, Odigbo Local Govt.

Area of Ondo State on 11th March, 1967.

        Ayodeji attended the Local Authority Primary School, Odigbo, Odigbo High School, Odigbo; Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta; and Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.  He participated in the compulsory National Youth Service Corps Scheme as an Account Clerk in First Bank Plc, Ore branch between August 1998 and August 1999.

Ismaila holds a post-graduate diploma in Public Administration and has a master’s Degree in-view on the same field of study.

Olurimisi was a class teacher at Isero Grammar School, Odigbo.  He later worked with Odigbo Local Government Area Council, Ore, as Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman between 1999 and 2003.  He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer at Olurimisi Woods and Sawmill Industry, Odigbo.    He has been involved in various political activities in the State.


Ismaila Ayodeji, a devout Muslim, is the Chief Imam of Odigbo kingdom. He has been to Mecca and Medina and loves reading and praying, He is married with children. Mr. Ismaila Ayodeji Olurimisi is the Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Ondo State.

Ondo State is a state in Nigeria created on 3 February 1976 from the former Western State. It originally included what is now Ekiti State, which was split off in 1996. Akure is the state capital.
