Profile. Mr. Kolade Rasheed Badmus

Badmus Kolade Rasheed, was born in Afin-Akoko, Akoko North West Local

Government Area of Ondo State on 5th August, 1971. After his Primary

Education, he attended Ajuta High School, Ogbagi-Akoko, and Akwa-Ibom

State Polytechnic, Ikot Ekpene, where he read Accountancy, and

graduated in 2002.

        Rasheed has had a distinguished career in the banking and financial

world.  He worked at Owena Bank Nigeria Plc. and Guaranty Trust bank

Plc where he was till 2003.

In 2012, he established Teslat Oil and Gas Ltd., where he is

Chairman/Chief Executive Officer till date.

        Rasheed has served in various capacities as a grassroot politician.

His political activities and experience include serving as; Chairman

of the forum of Local Government Chairmen of All Progressive Congress

(APC) in Ondo State;    Chairman, All Progressive Congress, Akoko

North West of Ondo State 2014 till date; and Director of Mobilization

Aketi Campaign Organisation 2016.

On the religious scene, he served as the Secretary, Ansarul Islam

Youth Wing Afin Akoko from 1988 – 1994 and he is a member, Young

Islamic Re-enacted of Nigeria (YIRON)

He is married with children.

Mr. Kolade Rasheed Badmus is the Commissioner for Natural Resources, Ondo State.

Ondo State is a state in Nigeria created on 3 February 1976 from the former Western State. It originally included what is now Ekiti State, which was split off in 1996. Akure is the state capital.
