Less privileged Muslim Umah in Ondo empowered by Akeredolu’s administration
During the weekend, the Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Top Ondo state political appointees visited the Ondo state Muslim welfare Board Alagbaka, Akure for the empowerment of less privileged Muslim Umah in Ondo state.
Chairman, Ondo state Muslim Welfare Board Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi, was present at the event to receive the Governor, his entourage and the empowerment materials.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu expressed that his administration is concerned about the welfare of every citizen of Ondo state and that is why he has decided to put smiles on faces through this event.
He further expressed his heart felt concerns for less privileged people in the state and advised that his administration will always ensure that people are well catered for in enjoying the dividends of democracy.
Empowerment materials like Grinding machines, sewing machines, amongst others was donated to the board for support.
Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi thanked the Governor and his administration for his kind gesture and expressed his sincere appreciation.
Some of the beneficiaries were present to receive empowerment materials from the Governor and they expressed their appreciation.
